The Area
Located just 50 minutes from Melbourne, the Macedon Ranges offers some beautiful and natural attractions including Mt Macedon and Hanging Rock. This marks the Macedon Ranges as a very popular tourist attraction that includes wineries, art festivals, nurseries, private gardens, restaurants and cafes.
The Macedon Ranges and surrounds including Woodend and the Wombat State Forest have a myriad of exceptional mountain bike trails which are renowned Australia wide. There is a diverse array of terrain around Mt Macedon and networks extending to Gisborne, Blackwood, Daylesford and Castlemaine. Riders travel from afar every week to ride these amazing trails, unfortunately they are regularly disappointed when they lose themselves in the forest, unable to locate the tracks they were keen to find.
